We at Roscommon Gaels just like a lot of GAA Clubs had to shut down our Club Lotto when the Covid pandemic arrived. We made the decision to go online late last year as we realised our normal selling outlets was not an option for the foreseeable future. When we were setting up our 50/50 Draw in early 2021 we were looking for a strong online presence. We contacted a number of companies that could provide the service we required and choose Lottoraiser, a decision we are very happy with. Last November it was clear that our weekly Lotto 50/50 Draw was running into trouble. Covid19 had closed down most of our selling outlets and it was a matter of urgency to do something about the finances of the club. Going online was our only option!

At the beginning of November, I contacted LottoRaiser and became acquainted with James. I can honestly say that, since our first conversation, I found a person who was helpful, generous with his time and attention, attentive to detail and deeply anxious to make our ‘Lotto-on-Line’ a success. A message to James or an email or a phone call is answered in minutes with courtesy and patience.

James has been very enthusiastic about putting Lotto na Gaeltachta online ‘as Gaeilge’ and his concern for ensuring the detail of the Irish language was, and is, very special and very important to us.
